How to use Oils Safely

In this course I will specifically & ONLY be referencing Young Living products because of my personal experience with them! 

Bodies are AMAZING & so so different…therefore we will likely experience & use oils in different ways & for different purposes. And that right there is the BEAUTY of it all! There is no one size fits all & its exciting to find the tools that work best for YOU & your lifestyle!

if you know me, i’m obviously not a medical professional (just a newbie oil-lover!) so naturally this class is not in any way meant to take the place of medical advice! it is for educational purposes based on opinions & facts that i have found in my own experience & research i’ve gathered from books and online! no diagnosing, treating, or prescribing is goin’ on here.

△ SAFETY STUFF: essential oils are powerful & potent & because of that, here’s a few quick tips on how to properly use them!

– labels are your friends! every oil has a colorful label full of important info! on the front of each bottle, you’ll find the oil name and grade. the back will have info on how the oil can be used – aromatically, topically, and/or as a dietary supplement. not all essential oils are recommended for all three types of use, so reading and adhering to the information printed on the bottle is important!

– as a general rule of thumb – it’s a good idea to test a new oil out on your hand/arm to make sure your body responds well to it!

– the majority of essential oils are perfectly safe to use with kiddos as long as they are diluted adequately! two go-to resources I’ve seen recommended are: Aromatherapy for the Healthy Child by Valerie Worwood & Gentle Babies by Debra Raybern. these books talk about oils & pregnancy as well!
