But You Will Receive Power

I hit play on today’s soul training video and was taken aback at how absolutely applicable it was to this very day.

I wrote this late last year and recorded it in February before 2020 got all cray- cray.

After leaning into todays lesson- I just knew I needed to invite anyone else who’d like to join..

Every Monday in Soul Training we do a “Warm Up” lesson to learn about the context of our weekly theme verse.

This week we’re in Acts 1. Sure hope this blesses you today!

Warm Up Video notes:

Luke had a specific goal in mind when writing his letters.
*That Christianity is harmless
* That Christianity is innocent
* That Christianity is lawful

God has set the dates and times. They aren’t meant for us to know about, but to have an opportunity to believe for, to trust him for.
Yes, there is going to be a power coming, but it’s not about the environment around you, it’s about what’s IN you

Acts 1:8 says “And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in
Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Jerusalem: Jesus was executed; Jedea rejected his ministry; Samaria was “a
wasteland of impure half breeds” and the ends of the earth were filled with
halfbreeds. AND THIS is where Jesus told them to Go!

Here are a few questions to further the conversation with the Lord

1) What is something you are waiting for God to do? Can you rest assured that he
will do those things in His time and will equip you with what you can do in the
meantime?

2) Examine what going to Jerusalem, Judea, Sameria, and the uttermost parts of the
world looks like in your sphere of influence?

3) Is there an area in your life that you are gazing up to heaven expecting God to do
something when he has told you what you need to be doing?

Hop into Soul Training with us and lets continue the conversation! Get all the Details HERE—-> https://christinejaynes.com/training-membership/
