Her Highness

As I picture the woman we are called and anointed to be- I see a woman waking in her room that sits in a castle.  Pushing back the lush covers and putting her feet over the bed and onto the floor ready to apply herself.
She’s ready to walk in victory- she by no means wants to take advantage of Gods grace.  A woman of that high standing is confident in her ability (because she’s been given power and authority) to gracefully get it done.
She’s disciplined enough not to let laziness, sin, stress or shame push her around.  She is a regal slave to righteousness yet walks in power and freedom.
She doesn’t fight for victory- she knows it’s already hers.  She fights from victory, tenaciously in love with her God.
She climbs in at night knowing she walked well that day.  Although not perfect, she walked alongside her Lord.  The thought  “Oh, I’ll do better tomorrow” doesn’t even cross her mind.
She’s confident in the lessons learned and victories won in the day she just lived.  She nestles in, her spirit in peace and she rests well- knowing she is well cared for.

I also clothed you with embroidered cloth and put sandals of porpoise skin on your feet, and I wrapped you with fine linen and covered you with silk.  I adorned you with ornaments and bracelets on your hands and a necklace around your neck.  I also put a ring in your nostril and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head… So you were exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty.  ( Ezekiel  16:10-13)

My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. (John 10:10)

I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for Gods own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of the darkness into His marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9)

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.  (Ephesians 2:6)

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit what we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.  (Romans 8:15-17)

We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.  (Ephesians 2:10)

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.   (Jude 24-25)
